Revolution

STATEMENT

The concepts that have always occupied my mind are the mystery of the creation of humans and their metaphysical power, which draw them distinct from other creatures. I believe there is immense value in perceiving and provoking this mysterious power. It could revolutionize our lives. To describe my mainstream, I used symbolic elements and forms. I thought that a two-dimensional space would not perfectly express what was going through my mind. To this end, I utilized two additional parts on the left and right sides of the middle part, where the middle part contains the main subject. The two lateral parts narrate the story of the main subject and give more information about it.

  • TIME

the girl, hugging the clock, symbolizes an effort to control time. The stairs which are the elements of movement in the two lateral parts, represent the fact that we have no control over time.
  • REFLECTION

I believe that we will eventually receive the result of what we do in our lives.
  • PRAYING
Colored pencil and chalk pastel on cardboard, 70 x 100 cm, 2022.
If we believe in the great power of humans, we perceive that praying is not obedience to God’s command; Instead, it can be seen as an act of sending a metaphysical energy to the universe….
  • LIFE
Colored pencil and chalk pastel on cardboard, 70 x 100 cm, 2022.
The vacant rocking chair in the middle part is a symbol of death. The doll in the left part symbolizes childhood. The blindfold over the girl’s eyes represents a lack of awareness during the lifetime. The feet that direct towards the middle part symbolize the journey of life.
  • PRESENCE AND ABSENCE
Colored pencil and chalk pastel on cardboard, 70 x 100 cm, 2023.
The thought that provokes a relationship between soul and body, especially when we are thinking about something out of the surrounding environment….
  • THIRD EYE
Colored pencil and chalk pastel on cardboard, 70 x 100 cm, 2023.
I would like to refer to one of my favorite poems by the Iranian poet " Hafez ": For years my heart inquired of me Where Jamshid’s sacred cup might be, and it constantly asked strangers about what was in its own possession.
  • DELIVERANCE
Colored pencil and chalk pastel on cardboard, 70 x 100 cm, 2023.
What does deliverance mean? It is like a mystery to me! it is perhaps what humans always explore in their lives...
